Over three feedback rounds, you’ll form a community with other poets under the expert guidance of Elena Gomez. Each month, you’ll share your work with the group and receive constructive advice from Elena and your peers, allowing you to develop the writing that you submit and your voice as a poet.

Submission deadlines: Poems of up to 80 lines due Tuesdays 9 April, 14 May, 11 June.
This season, Writers Victoria’s Online Feedback Clinics have been reimagined, making them more flexible for participants. For the full experience, you can sign up for a workshop to get started and meet your tutor before you submit work for feedback from the tutor and your peers across a three-month period via our online forum. If you’d prefer to just dip a toe into the clinics, you can sign up for a one-day workshop; if you’re more confident in your drafting skills, you can opt, instead, to focus solely on the feedback rounds. This page is for those who wish to register for the feedback rounds only.

About the Tutor:
Elena Gomez is a poet and editor living on unceded Wurundjeri country. She is the author of Admit the Joyous Passion of Revolt and Body of Work. She has facilitated workshops for Express Media and Queensland Poetry Festival and is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne.
