Details

This season, Writers Victoria’s Online Feedback Clinics have been reimagined, making them more flexible for participants. For the full experience, you can sign up for a workshop to get started and meet your tutor before you submit work for feedback from the tutor and your peers across a three-month period via our online forum. If you’d prefer to just dip a toe into the clinics, you can sign up for a one-day workshop; if you’re more confident in your drafting skills, you can opt, instead, to focus solely on the feedback rounds. This page is for those who wish to sign up for the workshop only.

For more information on our online feedback clinics, please read our FAQs

This workshop will take place online and will be recorded, with the recording sent to registered participants afterward. Detailed instructions for participation will be provided in the week preceding the event.

You Will Learn:

  • to gain a greater understanding of the children’s publishing industry
  • different ways and techniques to approach telling your story
  • the importance of melding character, plot and language
  • ways in which to find your own voice
  • common mistakes to avoid
