Details

This season, Writers Victoria’s Online Feedback Clinics have been reimagined, making them more flexible for participants. For the full experience, you can sign up for a workshop to get started and meet your tutor before you submit work for feedback from the tutor and your peers across a three-month period via our online forum. If you’d prefer to just dip a toe into the clinics, you can sign up for a one-day workshop; if you’re more confident in your drafting skills, you can opt, instead, to focus solely on the feedback rounds. This page is for those who wish to sign up for the workshop only.

For more information on our online feedback clinics, please read our FAQs

You Will Learn:

  • the possibilities and importance of creative nonfiction, with a particular focus on personal essays
  • how to gather material in the early stages of writing
  • how to shape what you’ve gathered into an essay
  • the layers of meaning at work within creative nonfiction
  • how to structure the messy stuff of life into something meaningful for the page.
