Shu-Ling Chua is a Melbourne-based writer and essayist. Her debut essay collection, Echoes (Somekind Press, 2020), jointly won the 2021 Small Press Network Book of the Year Award. She is interested in image, longing, and the blurry boundaries between private and public. Shu-Ling’s writing has appeared in Peril Magazine, Meanjin, Asian American Writers’ Workshop, 4A Papers and elsewhere.
