Summary:

What do Virginia Woolf, Christopher Hitchens and Ernest Hemingway have in common? Their non-fiction writings use stories: to intrigue, shock or seduce. This workshop will reveal the nature and virtues of narrative, savour some fine examples, and offer exercises for writing striking, moving or witty non-fiction tales.

About Damon Young

Dr Damon Young is a prize-winning philosopher and writer. He is the author of ‘The Art of Reading’ (2016), ‘How to Think About Exercise’ (2014), ‘Philosophy in the Garden’ (2012), and ‘Distraction’ (2008). His books have been published internationally, and translated into various languages, including Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish and Korean. Young is also the editor of two collections, and author of three popular children’s books.
