The Furphy Literary Award encourages Australian writers everywhere to ‘have a go’ and submit their short story for this year’s competition.

- Length: No more than 5,000 words
- Prize: 1st Prize – $15,000, 2nd Prize – $3,000, 3rd Prize – $2,000
