In this online course, students will develop their historical fiction under the mentorship and supervision of Christopher Raja. Students will submit short pieces or excerpts from longer projects and receive feedback, developing their work and identifying opportunities and areas for improvement. This online course actively encourages sharing of your work with your cohort as well as with the tutor.

Details

Our Online Feedback Clinics are asynchronous, with no face-to-face meetings, allowing you to engage with the content at the times of day and week that suit your schedule. They are hosted on our private Wordpress server. There will be an optional Zoom introduction to the clinic website for those less confident with technology, which will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. About the Tutor:

Christopher Raja is the author of a memoir, Into the Suburbs: A Migrant’s Story (UQP, 2020), a play The First Garden (Currency Press, 2012) and a novel, The Burning Elephant (Giramondo, 2015). Christopher has been twice shortlisted for the Northern Territory Chief Minister’s Book of the Year award. He was the 2021 UTS Copyright Agency New Writer’s Fellow and his memoir was Highly Commended in the National Biography Award 2021.
