But there are some general tips, strategies, advice and exercises that can help you in making your picture book as good as it can possibly be, therefore having the best chance of being noticed by a publisher. Join picture book author and former publisher Jane Godwin as she shares her experience and expertise in this area.

About the Tutor:
Jane Godwin is a highly acclaimed author of over thirty five books for children and young people, most of which are picture books. Her work is published internationally and she has received many commendations. Jane and Anna Walker have collaborated on eight picture books, and are currently working on their ninth project. For many years, Jane was the Children's Publisher at Penguin Books Australia, where she worked with authors and illustrators including Alison Lester, Graeme Base, Terry Denton, Freya Blackwood, Andrew Joyner and many more.
