Verse Novels for Young Audiences
Verse novels are wonderfully layered, both sparse and lyrical. You’ll create a mini creative journal to collect your fragments, make connections and most importantly, to play. Verse novels need flow and fragments, movement and stillness – you’ll write poems which cover these ideas. You’ll also explore the importance of symbols and add layers of meaning. This workshop is suitable for writers with a few initial ideas and those who have a first or second draft.-
