That’s right, it’s that time of year again – at Writers Victoria, October means Subscriberthon!
Support us by becoming a member or renewing your membership during October, and in return you’ll go in the draw to win one of our excellent Subscriberthon prizes.
Why do we run Subscriberthon every year? As a not-for-profit organisation that relies on memberships to provide our services, a member drive is an important part of our annual calendar. We love connecting with local writers, businesses, publishers and organisations to bring you an exciting array of prizes, and to be able to let you know of their excellent work and services. And when you become a member of Writers Victoria, you’re not only becoming part of our vibrant and engaged community, you’re helping our staff, tutors and partners create and deliver our courses, our manuscript and mentorship services, our member magazine The Victorian Writer, new and important information and content for our website, and so much more – read about our member benefits here. If you’ve ever benefitted from our services or advice – or are looking to in the future – then we’d greatly appreciate your support via a membership.
We are Victoria’s peak body for writers and storytellers, and we love the work that we do. We’ve been a leading provider of information, resources, skill development and support for our members and the broader writing community for over thirty years, and we’re the largest employer of writers in the state. We’re so proud of the work that everyone involved with Writers Victoria does, and hope to continue providing writers with the support and community they need to keep doing what they love.
Read on below to find out about the various prizes you can win during our October Subscriberthon and our generous prize donors, and help us continue to support writers by becoming a member or renewing your membership during October.
