About Tony Birch
Tony Birch is the author of Shadowboxing (2006), Father’s Day (2009) and Blood (2011), which was shortlisted for the 2012 Miles Franklin award. His new collection of stories, The Promise will be released by UQP in 2014. Tony also writes essays and reviews, and teaches at a community level. He works in the writing program in the School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne.
Update: Tony will be running a two-day Indigenous Places Intensive in collaboration with the Koorie Heritage Trust in November 2015.
