Back due to popular demand, our Season 1 program includes four email correspondence courses, which will run between February and June.

Writers can take their pick of Beginners Short Story Clinic with Demet Divaroren, Intermediate Short Story Clinic with Steven Amsterdam, Advanced Short Story with Laurie Steed, or Poetry with Terry Jaensch.

"I have gained extensive knowledge from this course in such a short space of time. I have absolutely loved it ... and interacting with the other fellow writers albeit indirectly" - Poetry Clinic participant

These email correspondence courses will give you monthly personalised feedback on 1,500-word submissions from your tutor and fellow participants – regardless of your location or access requirements.

Whether it’s polishing one piece for submission or getting feedback on five pieces over five months, you have the chance be mentored by a critically acclaimed writer and get feedback on all aspects of your work.

These clinics will sell out. So get in fast!

Digital Intensives

Our digital intensives will help you tackle your project through a combination of webinars and submissions of your own work.

Our new Digital Memoir Intensive with Jo Case (running from January to June) will give you a comprehensive, nuts-and-bolts view from structure and storytelling, and help you navigate the tricky ethical territory of writing about people you know.

We'll launch a new Digital Fantasy Novel Intensive with CS Pacat (from May to October), which will take you through the key stages of writing a page-turning fantasy, from coming up with ideas, through plotting, to final manuscript and publication.

And we'll bring back our Digital Novel Intensive with Phillipa Martin (from June to November), which will cover all the essential novel-writing tools – from research, refining ideas, genres, setting, writing craft and character development to plot tools to help you structure your story.

We’ll see online very soon.
