Our Staff

The Writers Victoria office and program are coordinated and managed by our dedicated staff team.

Angela Savage

Director

Angela always wanted to be a writer, but figured she needed to live an interesting life first in order to have something worth writing about. She spent most of the 1990s living and working on HIV projects in Southeast Asia, before returning to Australia, where she alternated between writing fiction and working in the community sector. Read more...

Angela is in the office Monday to Thursday.

Frances Terrett

Membership and Program Officer

Frances has been writing since she was a child. She started off with pieces of paper, stacked and folded, then tied with string around the middle, for writing stories. Along the way she has taken some detours through IT project planning and retail buying (who wouldn’t love purchasing truckloads of Lego every week). So she loves a good spreadsheet as much as she loves a good story.

Frances is in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
