Angela Savage appointed CEO of Public Libraries Victoria

Writers Victoria would like to express our heartfelt congratulations and support to our CEO Dr Angela Savage, who has today been announced as the inaugural CEO of Public Libraries Victoria.

Angela has been a strong and steadfast advocate for writers in Victoria, demonstrating commitment to the craft of writing, and supporting writers at all stages of their writing careers and journeys. Her clear vision, development, and delivery of Writers Victoria’s varied offerings over the past three years have created a thriving community.

Writers Victoria Chair Noé Harsel said: ‘While we are sad to lose such a remarkable advocate, we very much look forward to the ongoing relationship between Writers Victoria and Public Libraries Victoria, and the strengthening of our cross-organisation connection with Angela at the helm. Writers Victoria is very much looking forward to the next chapter for our organisation.’

Thank you to Angela for the past three years dedicated to Writers Victoria, and we wish you all the best for your exciting new role when you step into it at the end of September.
