The publishing industry can often seem both opaque and arcane. But publishing is a business like any other and there are rules, reasons and processes. This deeply practical workshop will walk you through the before, during and after of having a book published, from tips to getting your book noticed in a submissions pile or during a pitching session, to the steps that are in place leading up to publication, through to what to do once your book hits shelves. Perfect for anyone with a book in the pipeline or someone who would just like to understand what goes on inside a publishing house.
