Join Lee Kofman for this practical workshop aimed at both fiction and creative nonfiction writers with works-in-progress. It is based on the proposition that writers don’t write – they re-write, and also that the writing process is akin to layering, so that the first draft is often only the very start of creating a work and understanding its characters in depth. We’ll learn and practice various strategies that will help you to refine your understanding of your characters’ feelings and also will help you to render these feelings vividly and with nuance on the page.
