Plotting, Structuring and Pacing when Writing for Children

Are you a plotter or a pantser? How do you decide which is the best way to tell your story? What is the difference between plot and structure? How do you pace your novel to give your story full impact? Through discussion and various writing and drawing exercises we will explore ways of getting to the heart of your children’s early reader, first chapter or middle grade story. Participants are encouraged to bring along samples of their work in progress to refer to during workshop exercises.
