This workshop will explain and explore the differences between novellas and other forms, assisting as you hone plots, characters and structures that work within the constraints of this form.

About the Tutor
Mirandi Riwoe is the author of the novella The Fish Girl, which won Seizure’s Viva la Novella V and was shortlisted for the Stella Prize and the Queensland Literary Awards Fiction Prize, and the novel Stone Sky Gold Mountain, which won the ARA Historical Novel Prize and the QLA Fiction Prize. Her work has appeared in Best Australian Stories, Meanjin, Review of Australian Fiction, Griffith Review and Best Summer Stories.
