Whether you’re writing biography, interested in ghost writing, drawing together your family or local history, or even thinking about feature interviews–if you want to tell someone else’s story then learn how to illuminate your subject with writing that is engaging, ethical and insightful. This lively and practical workshop will use real-life examples to examine what works–and what doesn’t–when it comes to writing other people’s lives.Details

About Michelle Scott Tucker
Michelle Scott Tucker’s biography of Elizabeth Macarthur was shortlisted for the 2019 NSW State Library Ashurst Business Literature Prize and the 2019 CHASS Australia Book Prize. Michelle is currently working with Torres Strait Islander Aaron Fa’Aoso, to ghost-write his memoir. She was shortlisted for the 2021 Hazel Rowley Literary Fellowship for the memoir, which will be published in 2022, by Pantera Press. Michelle lives in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria.
