This is an opportunity to work with Anna Krien, one of Australia’s most respected non-fiction writers. From the fundamentals such as how to identify an original and compelling angle, development, research and interview techniques through to the craft of writing itself, you will emerge from this workshop with the necessary tools to tell your true story. You’ll learn the essentials of feature and long-form journalism, and explore its many guises from reportage to profile writing and memoir. About Anna Krien
Anna Krien is the award-winning author of Night Games: Sex, Power and Sport, Into the Woods: The Battle for Tasmania's Forests and Quarterly Essays Us and Them and The Long Goodbye. Her work has been published in the Monthly, the Age, the Big Issue, The Best Australian Essays, The Best Australian Stories, and Griffith Review. Her debut novel Act of Grace is out in October 2019.
