Early, Emerging
Speculative fiction—a broad category that can include science-fiction, fantasy, horror and literary spec fic—is a powerful platform for expressing ideas. A writer can create a world in which to tell any story, build a bespoke world rather than create a story within the constraints of the “real” world. Story is bigger than the world.

Please note: this workshop will be Auslan interpreted

You will learn

  • How to build a world for your story and characters
