The Dulcie Stone Award shows that this is not the case. A joint initiative between VALiD and Writers Victoria, the Dulcie Stone Writing Award showcases the voices of people with intellectual disability and demonstrates the power of writing to promote self worth and exploration of identity, whilst helping to transform the way communities think about and respond to disability.
