Early, Emerging
The body has always been a rich source of inspiration for writers. Draw on texts and exercises to help give voice to your own physical experience and explore how stories can be used as a powerful tool for both healing and creativity.

You will learn

  • an introduction to the canon of work inspired by the body
  • to use fresh language for representation of the body
  • to explore the richness of illness narratives
  • to produce your own writing during this generative workshop
  • new techniques which break cliché and make your writing jump off the page.
