Quinn Eades
Focus on writing from (rather than about) life experiences and the body. Discuss the politics and ethical considerations of life writing and the ways that writing stories from ‘other’ bodies can broaden minds and promote social change.

This workshop will take place online. Detailed instructions for participation will be provided.

Through a series of writing exercises, some set to music, produce your own embodied text with your peers.

You will learn:

  • how to think differently about ways to write the body

  • critical and literary terminology in relation to bodies and writing

  • new ways to articulate life stories

  • how to write trauma stories from the body

  • productivity techniques for writing
