Sometimes the most compelling stories are about other people.  Whether you’re writing biography, interested in ghost writing, drawing together your family or local history, or even thinking about feature interviews – if you want to tell someone else’s story then learn how to illuminate your subject with writing that is engaging, ethical and insightful. This lively and practical workshop will use real-life examples to examine what works – and what doesn’t – when it comes to writing other people’s lives.

About Michelle Scott Tucker

Michelle Scott Tucker is the author of Elizabeth Macarthur: A Life at the Edge of the World - a fascinating and critically acclaimed biography of the woman who established the Australian wool industry (even though her husband received all the credit). 

Michelle is a professional writer and consultant, with a successful career in government, business and the arts. Michelle lives in regional Victoria, has served on the Board of Writers Victoria, and is currently on the Board of the Mountain Writers Festival.
