About Jodi McAlister
Dr Jodi McAlister is a Lecturer in Writing and Literature at Deakin University in Melbourne. She is also the author of young adult novels Valentine (2017), Ironheart (2018), and Misrule (2019). Basically, she has two full-time careers, and both of them involve a lot of thinking about how we tell stories, and how we can get better at doing so.
