The Art of Story (Waurn Ponds)

Date:

With:

Arnold Zable

Rating:

Summary:

You have a story to tell, or ideas for stories, from your own life or elsewhere. But what is the best way to tell it, and to structure and craft it? Fiction or non-fiction? Novel or memoir, autobiography or short story? There are techniques common to all genres. The key is an understanding of the true meaning of imagination and the art of scene construction. Workshop will include talks, discussion, feedback and writing exercises. This tour is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria and presented in association with Geelong Writers.
