The reading is free and open to all members and non-members, emerging and established poets alike.

Please submit your poem (one poem per person) of no more than 30 lines to [email protected] by 10am on Thursday the 28th of September. Please include a brief bio (name and contact details will suffice) attached along with your entry. All entries must be original. Please submit poems as either PDF or MS-Word files.

All poets whose work is selected to take part in the reading will be notified by the 5th of October. We look forward to hearing from you, so please submit or just come along on the night to lend your support to Writers Victoria, enjoy some wine, and listen to some fantastic poets share their work. A prize of a one-year subscription to Writers Victoria and a free place at Omar Musa's forthcoming workshop on Performance Poetry will be awarded to a reader on the night.

Attendees of The Salon will also have the opportunity to book into Poetry and Power and Performance Poetry with Omar Musa at a 20% discount.
