If you’re keen to start a writing crime novel or short stories but you are unsure where to start, or if you are part-way through a manuscript and need help to finish or polish it, this online clinic will provide deadlines and support as you do so, pushing through blockages and problem passages. Participants will receive individualized feedback, including on structure, setting, pace, character and dialogue, from Andrew Nette. This online course actively encourages sharing of your work with your cohort as well as with the tutor.

Details

Our Online Feedback Clinics are asynchronous, with no face-to-face meetings, allowing you to engage with the content at the times of day and week that suit your schedule. They are hosted on our private Wordpress server. There will be an optional Zoom introduction to the clinic website for those less confident with technology, which will be recorded for those who cannot attend live. About the Tutor:

Andrew Nette is the author of two published crime novels, Ghost Money and Gunshine State. His third novel, Orphan Road, will be published in early 2023. Ghost Money was shortlisted in the 2010 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards in the category of Unpublished Manuscript by an Emerging Victorian Writer. His short fiction has appeared in print and online publications, including The Obama Conspiracy: Fifteen Stories of Conspiracy Noir, which won a prestigious Anthony Award for best anthology in 2018.
