The Writers Victoria Fund aims to increase opportunities for writers who experience financial and social barriers to developing their writing skills and connecting with the writing and publishing community.
Donations to the Fund help provide free or heavily subsidised professional development opportunities for emerging writers throughout the state of Victoria experiencing difficulties arising from financial hardship.
Writers Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation with around 2,500 members throughout Victoria and beyond.
Your generosity enables us to continue to grow and make our services even more accessible to the wider community.
Any contribution, big or small, will have an enormous impact for writers across Victoria.
- $25 helps a writer attend a seminar or lecture for free;
- $75 covers the cost of one year of membership to Writers Victoria;
- $150 allows someone to attend a full day workshop for free to build their skills and increase their networks.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible. If you use the web to make a donation over $2, your web receipt or credit card statement is sufficient evidence to claim your donation as a tax deduction (see ATO website for details)
