Visit the Jewish Museum of Australia for a glass of wine and a celebration of literature and modern art.
Authors Elise Esther Hearst and Anna Kate Blair will discuss their debut novels set in museums in Melbourne and New York respectively. Elise is an alumnus of the Jewish Museum of Australia and writes about a fictional version of the Museum, while Anna worked at and writes about the Museum of Modern Art.
In a conversation moderated by Museum Director & CEO Noè Harsel, Elise and Anna will talk about their novels that explore the lives of women working in the arts and grappling with identity, relationships, culture and the mysterious unknown futures that lay ahead of them.
Tickets include after-hours entry to the Jewish Museum’s current exhibition CHAGALL. Come along Wednesday 11 October, 6pm AEDT.
