 The Moth Nature Writing Prize

 Moth Nature Writing Prize in now OPEN – and will be judged by Islands of Abandonment author, Cal Flyn.

The Moth Nature Writing Prize is awarded annually to unpublished pieces of prose or poetry which best combine exceptional literary merit with an exploration of the writers’ relationship with the natural world:

  • Open worldwide to anyone over sixteen.
  • 4,000 max word limit.
  • The entry fee is €15 per entry and you can enter as many pieces as you like.

Prizes

  • 1st prize: €1,000 and a stay at Circle of Misse in France
  • 2nd prize: €500
  • 3rd prize: €250
