With a new beginning for Kyogle Readers and Writers in 2023, ‘BEGINNING’ is the theme of this year’s poetry competition.
Entries to the poetry competition should, in some way, address this theme.
Entries may be any style of poem, up to a maximum of 35 lines, not including the title.
Total prize money of $500 will be awarded as follows:
1st prize: $250
2nd prize: $100
3rd prize: $50
Commended: 5 awards of $20.
The winning entries will be announced at Literary Allsorts, presented by Kyogle Readers and Writers on Saturday June 3, 2023.
