Over 8 weeks in term 1 2024, the Chestnut Tree Bookshop will be running a workshop for children aged 8- 12 where kids will be supported and encouraged to use their imagination while they learn about how stories are made, with a particular focus on A Magical Portal Adventure (Hero’s Journey). The children will create a story themselves following a rough outline. Illustrations are welcome and children can get creative with how they’d like to present their books.
* The Chestnut Tree Bookshop always invite in one local author for a Q&A or workshop session with the children each term.
The workshop begins Monday 5 February, 4pm (AEDT).
