Want to be part of the 2025 Words in Winter Festival program?
Our theme for 2025 is LIGHT IN THE DARK and the festival dates are 22–24 August, 2025.
We’re looking for:
- Ideas that respond to our festival theme LIGHT IN THE DARK.
- Published authors to share their work through festival curated panel discussions and readings
- Event and workshop proposals that celebrate stories and words and engage diverse audiences
We’re especially excited to showcase the incredible local talent from Daylesford and surrounding communities, while also welcoming submissions from further afield. Whether you’re a local writer, a visiting author, or have a creative idea for an event, we’d love to hear from you!
Let’s make the 2025 Words in Winter Festival a vibrant celebration of stories and connection. And together we can discover LIGHT IN THE DARK!
