Writers Victoria is guided by a volunteer Committee of Management, the majority of which is elected from and by our membership.
In light of updates from the State Library Victoria (where we are located) that it is extending its closure of the building to the public, the Writers Victoria Committee of Management has made the decision to reschedule our AGM and conduct the AGM online. The health and safety of our writers, members, event and workshop attendees, and staff remains our first priority.
Three (3) positions on the Committee of Management will be declared vacant at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday 27 May 2020.
To nominate yourself for a position on the Committee of Management, please download and complete a nomination form and return it, in Word or PDF format, via email to:
Please email your nomination form using the email address we have on your membership record.

Members with financial expertise, marketing skills and fundraising experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
Please note the following guidelines when nominating yourself for the Writers Victoria Committee of Management:

- You do not need to ask another member to nominate you.
- Please enclose a short biography (up to 150 words) and a brief statement to support your nomination (including why you wish to join the Committee of Management and what you think you could contribute).

During the AGM, you will have 90 seconds to speak in support of your nomination. If you are unable to attend the AGM, a statement can be read on your behalf.
