Summary:

In this workshop, we will explore what makes a compelling and memorable character in fiction. What do we mean when we talk about ‘round’ vs ‘flat’ characters? How do we make our characters feel alive on the page? Even minor ones? Through writing exercises and close reading, we will explore these issues and improve your work by delving deeply into the key to all good fiction: character.
