Response Poetry

Date:

With:

Autumn Royal

Rating:

ALL

Summary:

While all poetry may be considered an expression or a reaction to an experience, emotion, history or socio-political reality, this workshop will concentrate on poetry as an intentional response to any previous form of material. There’s a long and rich tradition of response poetry, and this workshop will focus on how the poetic form can complement, interrogate or further understandings of artworks, archives, letters, current and/or historical events or simply be a reply to another writer.
