Lunchtime Bite: Navigating Legal Issues

Date:

With:

Yasmin Naghavi

Rating:

ALL

Summary:

We’re encouraged, as writers, to focus on our own stories, but it’s hard to avoid anxieties about what might happen once the story’s been written and we’re exposed to the world. In this session, learn which legal issues are worth worrying about and which might be distractions from the process. This session considers the risks involved in writing about family members or strangers, fictionalising real people or places and drawing from existing material, considering different approaches to this and solutions to problems that might arise.
