Are you interested in creating your own graphic narrative? Join Sam Wallman, a widely published comics journalist, cartoonist and author of Our Members Be Unlimited, for a hands-on workshop covering the fundamentals of visual storytelling. He guides you through brainstorming a topic, how to bring real-life experiences into your stories, and how to vividly illustrate your ideas. Write and edit a short script during the workshop and leave with sketches and images you can develop into a finished artwork or comic at home.

About the Tutor:

Sam Wallman is a comics journalist and cartoonist, whose drawings have been published in The Guardian and The New York Times, and on the ABC and SBS. Sam is a committed unionist, having worked as a delegate and a labour organiser. He works out of the Workers Art Collective.
