What haunts your world? Do you want to give it life in words? In this workshop you will be given the tools to construct a supernatural world and write a short story in a day! We’ll explore the use and subversion of common archetypes, the nature of the hero’s journey, parables and questions of inspiration.

About the Tutor:

Hoa Pham is the author of eight books. Her next book, Empathy, is out in October and is about a drug that makes people feel what other feel and the clones that made the drug happen. Her first fantasy novel, Vixen, was about a fox fairy, a woman who took the form of fox. It was awarded the Best Young novelist by the Sydney Morning Herald and shortlisted for the Aurealis Best Fantasy book of the Year.
