This workshop will engage writers with meditation practices, the development of a sixth sense, games of chance and questions of coincidence, prompting inspiration through experimental writing techniques that go beyond everyday writing practices. We’ll take the reins off the horse, so to speak, and ride bareback into the sunset, allowing the horse to lead the way to the horizon.

About the Tutor:
Nicole Brimmer is an emerging artist and writer with a background in visual art and communication design. She is interested in the hybridization and juxtaposition of literary and art genres and Experimental writing practices. She recently published her first pieces of writing for Writing in the Expanded Field at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Rhizomes.net and ABC Open. Her work is a reflection of everyday life in the city and industrially-designed environments, drawing contrast to the organic processes inherent within the natural world.
