Some of the most exciting books being published at the moment are anthologies – how can you get involved? In this session, three writers who have both written for and edited these collections answer your questions, whether you’d like to know more about pitching an anthology, writing and submitting pieces… or anything else!

About the Panellists:
Adolfo Aranjuez is an editor, writer, speaker and dancer. He has worked across periodical and book publishing for fifteen years, with past tenures as editor-in-chief of Metro and Archer, and currently as publication editor of Liminal, including its collection Against Disappearance: Essays on Memory (Pantera Press). His essays, criticism and poetry have been published widely in Australia and abroad, and he has collaborated with a range of government, community and cultural organisations. Eliza Hull is an award-winning musical artist, writer, journalist and disability advocate – and a contributor to Growing Up Disabled in Australia. Her podcast series on parenting with a disability, We've Got This, was one of Radio National’s and ABC Life’s most successful series of all time, the series is now an anthology, titled We’ve Got This – Stories by Disabled Parents, featuring 25 people who identify as disabled and/or d/Deaf. Eliza was recently awarded the National Disability Leadership award through Arts Access Australia and Australia Council.
Mykaela Saunders is an award-winning Koori and Lebanese writer, teacher, community researcher, and the editor of This All Come Back Now, the world’s first anthology of blackfella speculative fiction (UQP). Mykaela is a 2021 Next Chapter recipient, and has won prizes for fiction, poetry, life writing and research. Mykaela is of Dharug descent, and working class and queer, and belongs to the Tweed Goori community.
