It’s difficult to capture the essence of a book in a small rectangle and designers are required to marry artistic skill and marketing expertise in creating covers. This is a process that’s often emotional and opaque for writers; in this session, Pooja Desai and W.H. Chong will share everything that’s involved in creating some of this country’s most iconic covers and answer some of the questions about design that mystify many writers.-
