Robert Hillman is the author and co-author of more than one hundred works of fiction, biography, autobiography and history. His memoir, ‘The Boy in the Green Suit’ won the Australian National Biography Award in 2005, and a number of other works have been short-listed for national awards, including the Prime Minister’s Literary Award. His collaboration with Najaf Mazari, ‘The Rugmaker of Mazar-e-Sharif’ became a bestseller in 2010, and a second collaboration, with Zarah Ghahramani, ‘My Life as a Traitor’ was published in sixteen countries and thirteen languages. His most recent work of fiction is, ‘Joyful’. A further collaboration, ‘The Mouth That Roared’, the life story of Les Twentyman, was published in 2017.
