New members welcome every Monday for lunch in a Hawthorn café. For creative/academic/other scribbly types who work at home and would enjoy socialising (and much talk of writing) with freelance colleagues. Those considering joining, please email first.

This social lunch is an opportunity for freelance writers who work alone at home to meet and chat with ‘colleagues’. The lunch is specifically social rather than for workshopping — but we naturally talk a lot about our own and each other’s writing, often inspiring each other with ideas and enthusiasm as a bonus.
