Aims to promote local writers, co-ordinate literary events and activities, and represent the literary sector in the development of cultural policies for the Geelong and Surf Coast region. Committee elected annually. Annual fee $20. Membership includes Geelong Ink monthly newsletter, workshops and seminars, liaison with Gordon TAFE and Deakin Literary Society. Occasional publications and writing-related news on Pulse FM. Special events such as ‘Words at the Gallery’ and ‘Polyglots on Pako’. Writing competitions, writing groups, and short fiction forum.
