Welcome to The Salon, a new monthly event for Melbourne writers.
We invite you to come and celebrate your milestones, share details of your current project and delight in conversation with supportive fellow writers.
Join us as we invoke the grand tradition of 19th century literary salons without the pretence.
This month’s theme is Ideas, with guest speaker Johannes Jakob. Johannes was recently acting editor of The Victorian Writer. He is currently the fiction editor at The Lifted Brow and co-hosts the podcast JOMAD I Heard You Like Books?. His short stories and non-fiction have appeared in Voiceworks, The Lifted Brow, The Emerging Writer and elsewhere.
FREE entry but bookings essential.Book online now using the fast, secure TryBooking service.
