Long awaited cafe bar, The Moat, has opened its doors and the Wheeler Centre residents invite you to relax with your fellow writers and industry folk for informal drinks and interesting conversation.

A close writing community is a thriving one; we encourage you to leave your lonely garret behind for an hour or two every second month and enjoy the social side of our City of Literature.

This month romance is in the air. Come share an intimate drink and special moment with your fellow Literary Lovers. Writers Andee Jones, Matthew Lang, Koraly Dimitriadis and (AP’s very own) Eliza Hull will be paying a tribute to romance with impromptu readings on the night.
