Writing Australia is seeking a National Director
A new national literary organisation has been formed by the writers' centres of Victoria, NSW, ACT, SA and Tasmania. Named Writing Australia, its mission is to promote and develop Australia’s literature sector through brokering a range of national programs and partnerships for the benefit of Australian writers. It has been funded by the Australia Council as an Emerging Key Organisation.
It is currently in the process of recruiting a National Director:
Writing Australia is seeking a National Director to steer it through its initial years of operation. The successful applicant will be dynamic and self-motivated and have a demonstrated background in senior arts management and familiarity with the Australian literary sector. The position will report to the Writing Australia Board on a three-year contract. For a full position description, selection criteria and background information, please go to:
